This Cookie Policy explains how Everyday Earth uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit the Everyday Earth website and online store.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function correctly, remember your preferences and, where you have given permission, provide information about how the website is used. Some cookies are necessary for the website to work and cannot reasonably be switched off. Other cookies, such as those used for analytics or marketing, generally require your consent.

How Everyday Earth uses cookies

Everyday Earth may use the following types of cookies:

Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for the website and online store to function properly. They may be used for purposes such as:

• website security and fraud prevention;

• page navigation;

• maintaining your shopping basket and checkout session;

• processing website and store functions; and

• remembering your privacy and cookie preferences.

Because these cookies are necessary to provide the website and its services, they do not normally require consent.

Functional cookies

Functional cookies may allow the website to remember choices you make or provide additional features that improve your experience. Where consent is required for these cookies, they will only be activated after you have made your choice through the website's cookie settings.

Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies help Everyday Earth understand how visitors use the website, for example which pages are visited, how visitors move around the site and how the website performs. This information can be used to understand what is useful to visitors and improve the website and online store. Analytics cookies will only be used where you have provided the necessary consent.

Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies may be used to measure the effectiveness of advertising or communications and, where applicable, provide more relevant content or advertising. Everyday Earth will only use marketing cookies where appropriate and where you have provided the necessary consent.

Wix and third-party cookies

The Everyday Earth website and online store are built and hosted using Wix.

Wix may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate, secure and provide the website and ecommerce functionality. Additional cookies may also be used depending on the Wix features, applications and integrations enabled on the website. Third-party services used by the website, such as payment, analytics or other integrated services — may also use cookies or similar technologies where necessary to provide their services. The cookies used may therefore change as website features or services are added, removed or updated.

Your cookie choices

When you first visit Everyday Earth, you will be given the opportunity to manage your preferences for non-essential cookies.

You can:

• accept or decline categories of non-essential cookies through the cookie banner;

• change your choices later using the cookie settings available on the website; and

• manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Essential cookies may still be used because they are required for the website and online store to function. Blocking certain cookies through your browser may affect the way some parts of the website work.

How long cookies remain on your device

Some cookies are session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser. Others are persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a specified period or until you delete them. The length of time a cookie remains on your device depends on the purpose and settings of the individual cookie.

More information about your personal information

Where information collected through cookies can identify you or otherwise constitutes personal information, it will be handled in accordance with the Everyday Earth Privacy Policy. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for more information about how Everyday Earth collects, uses and protects personal information and your data-protection rights.

Changes to this policy

This Cookie Policy may be updated from time to time, particularly if the website, Wix functionality, third-party services or applicable requirements change. Any changes will be published on this page and the Last updated date will be amended.
