These terms apply when you purchase products from Everyday Earth through this website. Please read them before placing an order.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
 

About Everyday Earth

Everyday Earth is an independent small business operated by Gemma Heath in England, creating personalised botanical prints and other paper goods.

Products

Everyday Earth takes reasonable care to describe and photograph products accurately. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device and, as products are printed individually, very minor differences in colour or finish may occur.

Personalised prints are individually created to suit the initial and name requested. The position, scale and arrangement of botanical and illustrated elements may therefore be adjusted slightly to suit different letter shapes, letter sizes and name lengths. The finished print may consequently differ slightly from the example photographs shown on the website while retaining the overall design and style of the product selected.
 

Where a framed option is selected, minor variations in the natural wood-effect finish or grain appearance of the frame may also occur.

These variations do not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Prices

Product prices will be shown on the website at the time you place your order. Any applicable delivery charges will be clearly shown before you complete your purchase. Everyday Earth may change prices from time to time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.
 

Placing an order

When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the selected products subject to these terms. You will receive an electronic confirmation after placing your order. Everyday Earth reserves the right not to accept or to cancel an order where reasonably necessary, for example if:

• a product is unexpectedly unavailable;

• there has been an obvious pricing or product-description error;

• payment cannot be authorised; or

• delivery cannot reasonably be made to the address provided.

If payment has already been taken for an order that cannot be fulfilled, you will receive a refund.

Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available through the Everyday Earth website. Payments are processed through the payment services available through the website. Everyday Earth does not normally receive or store your complete debit or credit card details.

Small-batch availability

Some Everyday Earth products may be designed, printed, assembled or finished in small batches. This means quantities may occasionally be limited and products may sell out. Where a product is described as a pre-order or made-to-order product, any different estimated dispatch arrangements will be clearly stated on the relevant product page before purchase.
 

Made-to-order products

Personalised prints are created individually to order. Estimated preparation and dispatch times will be shown on the relevant product page. During particularly busy periods these times may occasionally be longer; where a significant delay affects an existing order, Everyday Earth will contact you.
 

Delivery

UK orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48. Delivery charges will be shown at checkout.
 

As personalised prints are made individually to order, please allow the dispatch timeframe shown on the relevant product page in addition to delivery time.
 

Once dispatched, tracking information will be provided where available. Royal Mail Tracked 48 normally aims to deliver within two to three working days, but this is an estimated service and is not a guaranteed delivery date.
 

Orders will be sent to the delivery address supplied at checkout. Please check that your address is complete and correct before placing your order.

Cancelling an order

If you are a UK consumer purchasing online, you will normally have the legal right to change your mind and cancel your order. For most products, you have 14 days from the day after you receive your goods to tell Everyday Earth that you wish to cancel. You do not need to give a reason. To cancel, email: hello@everydayearth.co.uk. Please include your name and order number so that your request can be identified.

If your order has not yet been dispatched, Everyday Earth will endeavour to cancel it before it is sent. If it has already been dispatched, you will need to return it in accordance with the returns information below. Certain products may be excluded from the statutory right to cancel, including some personalised or custom-made products. Where an exclusion applies, this will be made clear before you purchase the product.
 

Personalised products

Please check all personalisation details carefully before placing your order, particularly the spelling of names and the initial requested. Personalised prints are created specifically to the information supplied with your order.
 

Once work has begun on a personalised product, changes may not be possible.
 

Personalised or made-to-order items created to your specification are not normally covered by the statutory right to change your mind. This does not affect your rights where an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or Everyday Earth has made an error with your personalisation.

Returning an unwanted product

After telling Everyday Earth that you wish to cancel, you must return the product within 14 days. Unless the product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the cost of returning it. Products should be returned securely packaged to reduce the risk of damage in transit. You may inspect and handle a product as you reasonably would if viewing it in a shop. Everyday Earth may be entitled to reduce a refund where the value of a product has been diminished because it has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and condition. Please contact hello@everydayearth.co.uk before returning an item so that return instructions can be provided.
 

Refunds following cancellation

Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel, Everyday Earth will refund the price paid for the returned product. Where you paid for standard delivery, the standard delivery charge will also be refunded. If you selected a more expensive delivery method, any additional cost above the standard delivery charge does not have to be refunded. Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.

The refund will be made within the applicable statutory timeframe, generally no later than 14 days after Everyday Earth receives the returned goods or, where applicable, receives evidence that they have been sent back.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect products

Everyday Earth wants your order to arrive as it should. If a product arrives damaged, is faulty, is not as described or you receive the wrong item, please contact: hello@everydayearth.co.uk. Please provide your order details and, where helpful, a photograph showing the problem.

Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, an appropriate remedy may include a refund, repair or replacement. Where a return is required because a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, Everyday Earth will not require you to bear reasonable return costs where the law requires the seller to meet them.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer law.

Lost or missing orders

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact hello@everydayearth.co.uk. Everyday Earth will check the available delivery information and work with you to resolve the issue. Please do not assume responsibility for pursuing a delivery provider yourself where Everyday Earth remains legally responsible for delivery of your order.

Incorrect delivery information

Please ensure that the delivery information provided at checkout is complete and accurate. If you notice an error after placing your order, contact Everyday Earth as soon as possible. Everyday Earth cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has been dispatched.
 

Promotions and discount codes

Any promotional offers or discount codes may be subject to additional conditions stated when the promotion is offered. Unless otherwise stated, discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be combined with other offers. Promotions do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
 

Intellectual property

Purchasing an Everyday Earth product gives you ownership of the physical product you receive. It does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property contained within it. Everyday Earth product designs, branding, finished artwork, written content and other original creative material remain the intellectual property of Everyday Earth or the relevant rights holder. Products and their content must not be copied, reproduced or commercially exploited without permission.

Personal information

Personal information provided when you place an order will be handled in accordance with the Everyday Earth Privacy Policy.

Our responsibility to you

Everyday Earth is responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by a failure to comply with these terms or by a failure to use reasonable care and skill where the law requires it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. Everyday Earth is not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses arising from a purchase made wholly or mainly for business purposes, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The terms applying to your purchase will normally be those in force when your order was placed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also have rights under the mandatory consumer laws applicable where you live.
